Tune in Tokyo and Cherry-Jelly Productions present AKIHABARA WINTER WONDERLAND, an anime and cosplay event at Royal/T Cafe, Shop, & Artspace on Wednesday, December 21st! Join us for our second annual holiday party at LA’s famous Akihabara-style maid cafe, featuring special musical guests APOCALIPSTICK and DO NOT FEED THE DJ! 

We’re bringing the sights and sounds of Tokyo’s “Electric City” to Los Angeles for a fun-filled night of cutting-edge fashion, Asian rock and electronic beats, and the best in anime and indie video games!

Tune in Tokyo will be celebrating the holiday season in true “Akiba” style with a Cosplay Holiday Fashion Show sponsored by Pure Delish, costume contest, doujin video games from Rockin’ Android, makeovers by Rockeresque Beauty Company, and anime video content sponsored by FUNimation® Entertainment! 

There will also be a great opportunity for holiday shopping with fantastic clothing, accessories, and makeup vendors Chubby Bunny, ShibuyaLA, Kawaii Carnival, Rockeresque Beauty Company, & Haute Republic!

Do Not Feed the DJ will keep the dance floor moving with Indie-Electro and Anime remixes, while Apocalipstick will bring their guitar-driven power-pop to the stage! The Tune in Tokyo DJs will also be dropping J-Pop, K-Pop, and Anime Music all night.

Attendees will be treated to video channels featuring anime and music videos! We’ll also have come cool giveaways courtesy of our sponsors including FUNimation® Entertainment. Our event is also supported by Aniplex of America, Q Pop, and Rockin Android, Inc.

Cosplay, Japanese street fashion and holiday attire suggested. We’ll be awarding prizes based on best use of theme and other categories! 

Royal/T’s maid cafe will be open until 10:30 PM, serving High Tea and tasty Asian-Fusion cuisine!

Admission is $10, all ages admitted. The event runs from 8 PM - 12 AM.
