About Apocalipstick
Like a stiletto to the head, Apocalipstick knocks you out with their face-melting powerpop! The band thrives in its delicious contradictions and hedonistic fun with catchy songs about make up sex (Let’s Fight), how to not be in a relationship (Don’t Be My Boyfriend But You Can Be My Bitch) and being good bad girls, (Everybody Loves a Bad Boy). If The Runaways and The Go Go’s got in a knock-down, drag-out pillow fight, Apocalipstick would be the party soundtrack! Of course the Apocalipstick girls like gettin’ busy! They have gone on a paid west coast tour, opened for Alien Ant Farm, and played House of Blues in Anaheim and San Diego. For more information, visit http://www.facebook.com/ApocalipstickBand.
About Joyce Lee & The Killing Shoes
Being raised strictly on classical music, Joyce Lee never realized what she was missing from her life until the day her best friend played a punk rock album for her. As soon as that music hit her ears, a light bulb went off in her soul and she knew what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. After moving to LA, Joyce met up with drummer, Wrecks and guitarist Brian Christopher who came from the same punk rock background and through their common bond, the three formed a shared vision in “Joyce Lee and the Killing Shoes” - a gritty, sexy and quirky modern rock n’ roll band infused with the vintage 70’s influences they love. Combining Wreck’s sharp, hard-hitting chops, Brian Christopher’s melodic guitar grooves and Joyce’s powerhouse vocals, this band has a sound that makes no apologies for what it is and will knock you off your feet.
